Fremont officers assisted East Palo Alto police officers in capturing two suspects wanted for a shooting in San Mateo. After a short pursuit, the suspect vehicle stopped on Thornton across from Dale Hardware and two suspects fled on foot. The suspects were rounded up in short order. Apparently no one was injured during the arrest.
Update: This may have occurred in East Palo Alto. Also, a woman who left the vehicle prior to the pursuit was located by a Fremont officer. She was held a gun point until back up officers arrived. She had a bag in her possession that contained a gun.
Update: Shooting occurred in San Mateo and EPA police officers chased the suspects across the Dumbarton where FPD joined in.
