There were shots fired in Hayward this afternoon on Santa Clara Street. No details on the victim, if there is one. At least two shell casings were found outside a residence, possibly in the street, but I don't know if anyone was struck. According to Pulse Point, Hayward Fire did not have any medical calls in the area.

I heard the call as well. That part of Santa Clara is very close to 880 which is a quick get away
ReplyDeleteHPD cancelled the BOLO on the get away car..so either they found it or the info was bad. They seem to have quite a few officers out at the crime scene, but no talk of any victims.
ReplyDeleteMy guess it was a drive by & no one was hit. It’s a fairly rough area, not as bad as back in the day.
