FPD has gone way too long without publishing a Patrol Blotter. There was a time when it came out daily, highlighting interesting and important calls throughout the city during that day. Now it has faded away. During this nationwide push for police transparency, FPD needs to step up and inform its citizens what they have been responding to. Seems to me this is to their benefit too to shine a spotlight on crime in Fremont. So, email Chief Petersen and demand that the Police Blotter be published daily.
