For my new viewers and listeners, here is a post initially put out a few months back that may be helpful in understanding police radio traffic.
On occasion a listener to the FPD live stream will inquire about the meaning of the various codes heard on the stream. The various Penal Code (PC) and California Vehicle Code (CVC) sections are easily available on the internet. However, I did find a a nice site with both the local radio codes as well as popular penal, vehicle and health & safety codes.
