Map of Fremont Police Zones

To further enhance your scanner listening, I have copied a link to FPD's web page that has a map of their zones.  The patrol unit numbers are based on the zones they patrol.  The first digit of their call sign is the zone.  For example, 1X2, patrols zone 1.  2X5 patrols zone 2, etc.  While I'm at it, the second character is their shift.  A=  midnight X= day O= swing  K= canine S= sergeant L= lieutenant.   Hope this helps and enjoy the online scanner.

    You are welcome! I live in Zone 1, so when I hear zone 1 units being dispatched, I listen a little more closely.
