Two zone 3 patrol officers were dispatched to the Days Inn Hotel in Warm Springs at 6:34 this sunny Sunday morning for an "ascertain the problem" call. According to radio traffic, a man had dialed
9-1-1 and is "pretending to order pizza". The 9-1-1 call taker, sensing something was amiss, probed the caller a bit, but he would not answer any weapons related questions. While officers were en route, the dispatch crew was able to search the callers phone number in the local database. A few prior cases showed up including a 5150 event. A call to the clerk at the hotel provided more info. The caller had checked in with his sister a few hours earlier and he was acting strange at the time. The clerk also said that he should be alone in the room. At 7:07 the officers have put out a "code 4".
