Fremont Fire has a hazardous material response to Mission San Jose High pool area. Equipment was dispatched at 10:53 this morning. Initial report is that there are 2 55 gallon barrels that are half full and venting. I don't know what the contents are or what the hazard may be. Fire personnel have taken a quick look and pictures and have exited the area. Chiefs will evaluate the threat and go from there. I'll update as I'm able.
On scene: 2 chiefs, 3 engine companies, 1 truck company and the haz mat crew.
BC requesting FPD for control of people in the parking lot.
BC now saying "this looks to be not much of an incident" per radio traffic.
