19 Year Old With Possible Covid-19

Yes indeed, it can hit the young.  An ambulance is on the way to Kaiser-Fremont with a 19 year old male with a cough, fever and shortness of breath.  According to the ambulance crew, this is a possible covid case.  Kaiser said to wait in the parking lot and they will come out and get the patient.

  1. Do we know if there have been any actual confirmed cases in Fremont? I can't find any info on that.

  2. I have asked Fremont Fire and Washington Hospital via Twitter if they have had contact with confirmed cases, but no answer so far. I'll press the issue more tomorrow when their PIOs are working.

  3. At first a big thank you to Fremont Streets for this effort.
By chance you received any information on confirmed cases here in fremont?

  4. I do not. This seems to be a big secret. The fire department says the county will release info on covid-19 cases, but they don't list cities. WTH has not answered my request for info. I continue to hear medics transport patients to local hospitals with either "confirmed" covid or suspected. Also, I believe there is an effort by medics to keep people at home who have covid symptoms unless they are in respiratory distress. I don't know if these people are counted in the stats or not.

  5. Thanks for your findings and hope to hear more from you on this.
A genuine thought of mine is that why to hide these things now that it is a community spread?
I know in other countries, medics are going door to door and doing the testing so as to find as many cases as possible and supress the virus. But in our case, there seems to be no seriousness? What are they waiting for?
