Locals Eating in Sympathy With the Italians
Italy has been hit hard and the country is mostly on lockdown. In sympathy with the Italians, locals have cleared the shelves of pasta and sauce at the Luckys on Mission. Buon appetito! (Of course this could be just random hoarding too....).
Out here, in Tracy, we're out of pasta and spaghetti sauce, too. I think it's more the fact that it's a quick and easy meal during these "rough" times that we're facing, more than sympathy for the Italians. I'm just angry because I LOVE MY PASTA!
Thanks for the report from Tracy. We were wondering what the food situation was out there. My story was more "tongue in cheek" than factual reporting, but agree, it is an easy meal to cook up in these "rough" times.
😉. Raley’s still had pasta & sauce. No meat.
ReplyDeleteLucky's was out of meat too..forgot to mention that.
