Fremont Leaders Absent During Crisis

Has anyone heard from Mayor Mei lately?  Anyone hear any updates from Chief Petersen?  Has the fire chief commented on covid-19 cases they have responded to?  Any word from Washington Hospital or Kaiser about covid-19 patients?  This is going to be a tough week, according to the Surgeon General, yet our local leaders are absent.  No words of encouragement to the citizens.  No update on how the county edict is working or not working.  Nothing, like business as usual.  Sad.

    One reader reminded me that the FUSD Superintendent resigned in the middle of this. No explanation for her resignation has been offered.
