Mayor Mei Retweet Storm

Mayor Lily Mei started her Thursday morning by firing off nine "retweets" from her Twitter account.  The original tweets varied from the huge corporation American Express to federal agencies down to county schools.  Much if not all of these tweets should not be of any news to Fremont citizens that are paying attention to the news.  What is missing is an original tweet from our Mayor saying something like "Hang in there.  I know what is going on.  We are on it".  Or maybe mores specifics, like "we have XX number of cases in Fremont.  We expect many more.  Our hospitals are in good shape with XX number of ICU beds available." Or how about some encouragement "Keep your social distancing.  This will work.  We'll get through this."  She is a bright, successful woman, but her political skills are surely lacking at the moment.
