High Speed Chase Down Fremont Blvd

Fremont officers chased a robbery suspect vehicle at speeds of 100 mph north on Fremont Blvd and east on Decoto Road around 1 o'clock this morning.  The vehicle often drove on the opposing lanes of traffic, but at that hour few cars were out.  The vehicle turned north on Mission from Decoto, driving on the wrong side of the street, before turning west into a Hayward neighborhood north of Tamarack.  Oddly enough, this is the same area where a pursuit terminated last week.  The vehicle crashed on Lexington at Seneca causing injuries.  An ambulance was requested.  The suspect(s) was taken into custody.  The pursuit last about 7 minutes and involved at least 6 officers.
