Woman Robbed of Purse Outside of Walgreens

Just before noon today a woman was robbed of her purse near the Walgreens Pharmacy on Mowry near Paseo Padre.  At least 3 suspects were in the blue Cadillac suspect vehicle.  No weapons were seen during the robbery.  An alert officer (3X3), aided by a license plate reader, observed the suspect vehicle at 12:05 driving north on 880 near Alvarado Blvd.  A short pursuit took place before the suspect vehicle encountered heavy traffic in the Hayward area and the pursuit was terminated.  Apparently the victim was not injured as there was no request for medical aid.
