Pursuit on 238 in San Leandro Ends in Crash

Fremont officers followed a stolen car up 880 and then south on SR 238 into San Leandro this evening before turning on the red light.  The vehicle then fled before crashing into a guardrail near 580 and continuing.   Officers then lost sight of the vehicle.  Apparently no other vehicles were involved.  CHP air and ground units are looking for it in the area.

    PulsePoint has posted the accident in CV/Hayward area. Foothill & Grove (Mattox). I heard the driver was ejected but I’m not real clear on that. Is that what you heard?

    There were a few confusing transmissions..but CHP has located the car and believes the driver was ejected, but no body has been located. The location now is 238 at Foothill, under 580.

    Ok yeah, it was a little confusing to follow because it was so fluid.
