Several people have called in to report a naked man running down Mowry westbound from Cherry. Last report was that he was laying in the road on Mowry near Fremont Blvd. An officer has located the subject and has asked for his back up units to "step it up". Officer says the man is probably on PCP and is running westbound. The man screaming can be heard in the background of the officer's radio transmissions. The man is being held down on Mowry near Bell and waiting for the ambulance crew. Mowry has been shut down to all traffic until the scene is secure.
Update at 7:45- the ambulance crew was able to sedate the subject.
