Second New Year's Day Pursuit

Just before 11 o'clock last night unit 2-O-10 attempted to stop a stolen vehicle northbound on 880 at Alvarado.  The vehicle did not yield to the red light and accelerated up to 80 mph before exiting at Alvarado-Niles in U.C.  The vehicle then went west over 880 towards Dyer before driving west in the eastbound lanes of Alvarado-Niles.  The officer then terminated the pursuit for safety reasons.
