Home Invasion Robbery in Sundale Neighborhood

Info here from FPD Nixle:

Detectives are following up today on a incident where four suspects broke into an occupied home and stole valuables from an elderly couple Wednesday night in our Sundale neighborhood.

On Wednesday evening at 10:20 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 4700 block of Selkirk St. to investigate a home invasion robbery. Selkirk St. is in our Sundale neighborhood, near Sundale Dr. and Stevenson Blvd. The caller stated that approximately 10 minutes prior, four males had broken a sliding glass door and entered the home.

At the time, two elderly residents were inside but didn’t hear the suspects enter. The residents were confronted by the suspects, but not injured. The suspects ransacked the home for several minutes and fled with property and valuables.

The suspect description is four Hispanic or Black males in their late teens to early 20’s wearing hoodies.

Officers believe this was a random act and the home was not specifically targeted. A thorough canvas of the area for witnesses and video was conducted. Detectives are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to please contact FPD Investigations at 510-790-6900 or send an anymous tip.  Text: Tip FremontPD followed by a short message to 888-777.

  1. Very scary and sad. According to the Patch they are sisters. I hope it’s not the sisters I see shopping all the time and drive their daily driver classic car. They are very sweet “very small” ladies. Sorry for my language but I hope they catch those bastards.
