Helicopter Activity

A helo was observed flying low in the Niles area around 3 this afternoon.  After checking a flight tracking site and researching the tail number of the copter, this appears to be a pipeline patrol operation.  This was probably a PGE contract flight to check natural gas pipelines.  These copters 
have sophisticated gear to detect pipeline leaks.  The copter is based out of Livermore Airport.
