The fiancé of Wednesday's murder victim, Crystle Creech, lost her brother to gun violence last December. Her fiancé, Anthony Garza, 32 years old, was shot and killed outside of Lucky's on Mowry about 15 minutes before sunset. Around sunset on December 7th, John "JJ" Creech, Jr, Ms. Creech's brother, was murdered on Amador Way in Hayward. No arrests have been made. Is this just a case of bad luck, losing a brother and a fiancé to gun violence in a matter of months, or were they targeted? By who and why are the questions police detectives will want answers to.
