A man has been shot outside of the Lucky's Supermarket on Mowry at Blacow. Officers are on scene and reporting the victim is conscious and breathing, but was reporting chest pain. The suspect vehicle reported to be an older model Cadillac Escalade, dark green with tinted windows. The vehicle fled towards Wendy's, and was later spotted on a city camera driving west on Stevenson. Witnesses report that only one shot was fired.
Update: Suspect is a white or hispanic male in late 20s wearing a red bandanna over nose and mouth.
Update: per radio traffic, the victim was pronounced dead at 7:53 p.m.
Update: several detectives have arrived from home and are starting the investigation. Between the witness info and camera video I wouldn't be surprised if there is an arrest tonight or tomorrow on this dude.

I heard CPR was started during this whole event. Did you catch if the CPR was performed on the victim?
ReplyDeleteI did hear an officer say that CPR was starting, but he was pronounced deceased at 7:53 p.m. Unknown if he passed on scene or en route to the hospital. A detective is now calling this a 187PC.
