A man who made threats at a Popeyes Chicken restaurant in Hayward this morning was arrested this afternoon at the Chick-fil-A on Auto Mall. According to radio traffic, the man became upset with his order from Popeye's and threatened to return and "shoot up the place". Hayward Police put a felony stop on this vehicle into the computer system and advised to "detain all occupants". A Fremont Police officer, unit 3X10, located the vehicle around 3:30 in the parking lot of the Chick-fil-A. As back up officers were responding, he could see that the vehicle appeared unoccupied and that the occupants were probably inside the fast food restaurant. About 15 minutes later the 3 chicken lovers returned to their vehicle and were arrested, apparently without incident.
