Police Activity off Farwell
A man with a red hat took a pair of shoes from a pedestrian a few minutes ago, while two other men with the suspect watched. The victim said he would go home and get a gun if necessary. Numerous officers are responding to the area. The suspects apparently are well known men who live in the area. This is in the 28 Palms neighborhood, not too far from the shopping center south of Mowry and Farwell.

Sounds like all involved are tweakers. Not sure how this turned out but they stopped at least one suspect.
