Around 7 this evening a man robbed a person in the Cabrillo neighborhood and took off on foot. The victim gave chase and a fight broke out, but the victim was able to flee again. A suspect vehicle is a white sedan, possibly a Mazda. Loss was reported to be $3,000 in cash.
When I heard how much cash they had, I was very surprised. What are the odds of the robbery happening with that much cash on them.
ReplyDeleteMe too. I think there is more to the story. Initially the report was the subject took "some items"...then they said the loss was cash. Sounded like a drug deal gone bad, or craig's list thing, but the officer did not elaborate on the circumstances (that I heard anyway). In the past there have been cases where someone wins big at a card casino place and is followed home.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. All of these scenarios sound more like what happened and not a random robbery.
