Fremont PD motor units have been patrolling Mission in anticipation of the power outage which would send traffic signals into flash mode or dark. PGE just announced that the potential outage is delayed until 8 p.m. The area forecasted to go dark is generally from around Driscoll north into Union City and beyond. The traffic units have cleared the area and will return later.
4-5 motor units taking a break at Mission Valley Shopping Center.
Mission Liquors is out of ice but expects a small delivery this afternoon. Luckys has about a dozen of the smaller bags available.
At about 3:30 power in the Sierra foothills had been pulled. Online scanners in Calaveras and Toulumne Counties are off the air.
