It is the weirdest thing. You hear a violent crime on the scanner. You know its real. At least four people go to the hospital with stab wounds. Crime scene tape across a neighborhood street. Ambulances everywhere. Cops everywhere. But the local police department doesn't mention it. Nothing about it in the media. In fact it is not listed on Crime Reports. It is possible that all participants are juveniles so therefore some info (names, etc) are kept secret. Why is it so difficult for Fremont Police to simply send out a Nixle message "We are investigating a stabbing in the Irvington District that occurred last last night". ?? Very bizarre.
