Police Activity at Round Table Pizza

Officers have a man detained in front of Round Table Pizza on Fremont Blvd. in the Irvington District.  The man was spotted earlier in a backyard on Carol and then fled on a bicycle.  A neighbor was able to provide a good description of the man.  While officers were checking the outside of the house to see if entry was made (there wasn't) other officers were checking the area for the man.  An alert officer located the man on Fremont Blvd and the man fled from the officer.  After a short chase he was brought down in front of the pizza parlor.  An ambulance was called, apparently for the suspect for injuries sustained during his arrest.
