Reposted from Friday Feb 7: Police on scene on 3rd Street in Niles at the east end on a possible shooting call. This sounds like a suicide attempt and the subject will be transported to the hospital per radio traffic.
Note: Because of the typical Friday afternoon traffic gridlock in Fremont, the ambulance was escorted out to Mission Blvd by traffic motor officers. I hope city council members are taking note that this traffic issue is having a negative impact on the health and safety of the community.
