February 25, 2020 Shooting Investigation - Update #1
Fremont Police Detectives continue to actively investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting on Tuesday afternoon in the 37500 block of Mission Blvd. The woman was treated for her injury and released from the hospital. The infant remains hospitalized and is expected to recover.
The safety of our community is our highest priority. Detectives feel confident this was not a random act and the case is being investigated as an isolated incident. We do not believe there is any threat to the public’s safety. Due to the ongoing nature of the case, further details are being withheld until completion of the investigation.
