Science Experiment Sets Off Fire Alarm at WHS

A science experiment gone bad has set off the fire alarm at Washington High this morning.  At around 8:25 students were exiting their classes as the alarm sounded.  At least one fire engine responded to the school on Fremont Blvd.  An all clear was given a few minutes later after confirming that the alarm was set off by an experiment in the new science building.  This is at least the second occurrence of an experiment in the science building setting off an alarm this year.
