On occasion a listener to the FPD live stream will inquire about the meaning of the various codes heard on the stream. The various Penal Code (PC) and California Vehicle Code (CVC) sections are easily available on the internet. However, I did find a a nice site with both the local radio codes as well as popular penal, vehicle and health & safety codes. ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. I was surprised to find a list that seemed to match what they used. There is so much variation nationwide and even locally. Fire departments have gone to plain language so there would be no confusion during mutual aid events.
