Shooting Outside of Hayward Last Night

CHP officers were alerted by their dispatcher around 11:30 last night of a report of 9 shots being fired in the Fairview area of Hayward.  Sheriff's deputies were en route.  The deputies stopped a Chrysler 300 off of Second Street.  There apparently was one gun shot victim that was taken to a local hospital with a Hayward Police escort.  Deputies advised there were about 15 people being uncooperative in the area.  They believe the shooter was on foot and requested CHP shut down Second Street near the top in Fairview at Vista Green.  6 CHP officers responded.  Unknown if this is related to the earlier incident off of Tennyson in the City of Hayward.
