Police Activity on Stevenson at 880

Numerous police officers were searching for a possible auto burglary suspect in the area of Stevenson Blvd and the northbound 880 off ramp at Stevenson.  The suspect was apprehended with the assist of a k-9 dog bite.  The suspect is on the way to the hospital.  Two other suspects were taken into custody earlier.  The charges put out on the radio earlier were possession of burglary tools and resisting arrest.  At the time of this writing there were no known auto burglaries but they suspect that the trio were casing cars in a nearby parking lot.  Several witnesses help law enforcement by pointing to where the suspect had fled.  CHP motor officers were also on scene.
