An attempt robbery just occurred at Bryant Common, located on Washington just west of Mission Blvd around 7 p.m. tonight. According to radio traffic, a man was walking to his residence from the parking lot when he was tackled by two males as they attempted to take his backpack. Apparently they fled without taking anything. There was a third suspect in the area as well. Officers are now arriving on scene.
Update: cameras show the three suspects walking south on Mission from Washington.
Update at 7:42. Officers located and stopped 3 men on Ohlone property across from the B of A. The victim was brought by to ID the suspects and it sounds like at least one was positively identified as a suspect.
