Drunk Takes Out Signal at Mowry and Fremont

An apparent drunk driver drove a 2006 Dodge pick up truck into a traffic signal at Mowry and Fremont around 9:30 last night.  Nobody was injured in the solo vehicle crash, but an officer on scene believes the driver may have been drinking.  It is unknown if he was arrested.  The westbound lanes of Mowry were closed until around 6 this morning as a signal was dangling from above, creating a possible hazard for passing motorists.  A city crew was called out to repair the signal structure.
