Union Pacific Railroad (Again)
A detective makes a traffic stop on Mission Blvd between Walnut and Stevenson and requests a patrol unit to assist. He also requests animal control as there is a pit bull in the suspects car that will be towed. A few minutes later IX17 radios in "I will be delayed by a train on Walnut". The UPRR train was moving, so a minor inconvenience in this case. A code 3 cover call may have been a different story...

Geez. I agree a Code 3 call would not have been good. It seems the train is delayed there more often lately. I have also noticed more horn blowing is happening and it seems they horn is much louder too. I can hear it at my house as if it’s a block away.
