Disturbance at the Pinebrook West Apartments Last Night

A loud family disturbance call from the Pinebrook West Apartments, Fremont and Nicolet, resulted in a number of officers dispatched to the area.  At 10:24 p.m. a family member called to say two cousins were trying to assault the reporting party's mom and dad.  A few minutes later a resident in the area observed two men breaking into a nearby occupied apartment from the balcony.  Not knowing if they had a separate robbery call on their hands, FPD dispatchers sent an additional three officers to the area.  In the end, the second caller was observing the cousins breaking into the apartment at Pinebrook.  Apparently 8 people were at the apartment at the time of the call and the cousins were living there as well.  However, according to police radio traffic, the cousins were not welcomed there last night and not allowed in.  The family desired no report/prosecution and officers left the area about 15 minutes later.  A big scene it must have been though.
