Science Experiment Sets Off Alarm at WHS

 A science experiment in the new science building at Washington High School set off the smoke alarm just before noon today.  Apparently the smoke detectors in the new building were too sensitive. Fremont engine 56 did respond to the alarm call as the students evacuated their classrooms.   The disruption was short-lived as the source of the smoke was quickly learned.
