Car Jacking at Pacific Commons

The suspect vehicle may be in the Sundale/Logan area via Find My app.  Officers are flooding the area.  More details later....an officer has found the victim's iPhone in the middle of the street.  The suspect must have tossed the phone out the window.
The car jacked vehicle is a black Acura TL 4 door  and was last seen east on Auto Mall going over 880.  There was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the jacking and he was able to escape a block or so later by jumping out of the vehicle, per radio reports.  The suspect had no weapons, but used his hands as force/threat.
Update:  the vehicle has been located and a K-9 is working the Sundale area looking for the suspect.

This event started at Dick's Sporting Goods at Pacific Commons at around 2:20 p.m.  The suspect and a woman were acting suspiciously inside of Dick's.  Officers had the woman stopped but the man got away.  An officer, 3X7, then observed the male suspect outside car jacking the Acura and gave chase, before losing it over 880.

Update:  Sounds like OPD has picked up the suspect.  Fremont detectives are en route to OPD for a prisoner pick up at this time (7:40 pm.)
