Pursuit Up The Nimitz

Fremont officers chased a stolen black Mercedes 350 up the Nimitz early this morning at speeds of up to 110 mph. Shortly after 1 a.m. CHP officers were alerted to the pursuit which had just passed Decoto Road.  The suspect had also rammed or attempted to ram a police vehicle earlier.  Fremont officers lost sight of the vehicle shortly after it exited 880 into Hayward.
