Around noon today a homeowner on Seneca Park Drive reported that a man had walked into her home, sat down on the couch and said he was waiting for the police. A few minutes later the police did in fact arrive and arrested him apparently without incident quickly. The man in his 40s may have been mentally ill.
Earlier today, in the north part of town, there was a report of a man taking mail from the mailboxes on the street. The reporting party thought he may have been mentally ill as he was drooling.
That is scary. I hope the homeowner will lock their door in the future.
