SHOTS FIRED AT TARGET ON BLACK FRIDAY; 5 ARRESTED
A shot (or shots) was fired in the parking lot of the Target at The Hub around 11:30 this evening. An alert officer spotted the suspect vehicle, a VW, on Glenview and gave chase. West on Eggers they went, and then north on Blacow before turning west on Central into Newark. Shortly thereafter the vehicle turned north and either stopped or crashed. Fremont officers quickly took five people into custody and located a gun. The event started when security officers at the store attempted to stop the suspects from stealing a Play Station PS4. As they exited the store, the suspects shot at least one round into the air and fled in the VW.

That was very intense to listen to. Thankfully no one (innocent people) was injured. Quick response FPD.
ReplyDeleteI noticed the peak listeners almost hit 100.
ReplyDelete93 listened in. The initial dispatch call sounded like a mass shooting from the reports they were getting. Must’ve sent a chill down every officer’s spine.
