Boyfriend Hops Fence; Cops Called

They say that police officers are always on duty; always looking around for suspicious activity, even on their days off.  This morning an off duty officer, apparently pumping gas at a local station on Mission Blvd, observed a young man hop a fence into a backyard nearby.  Naturally he called dispatch and the cavalry was sent out.  Officers quickly set up a perimeter around the house while others made contact at the door.  Turns out it was a resident's boyfriend who hopped the fence, apparently taking a short cut.  Good observation none the less and I'm sure the boyfriend will take the longer route in the future.
