Fremont Fire is enroute to the end of Lopes Court to rescue a man trapped up to his waist in a trench. This is the area of South Grimmer and Old Warm Springs by the UPRR yard.
Update: FFD on scene, worker has been freed somewhat by coworkers, but he is injured. Still a rescue operation. Subject has back injuries and unable to move by himself, per fire captain on scene. OSHA has been called in. Fire crews are cleaning up and preparing to leave the scene. Apparently the victim is now in the ambulance.
