Officer Gentry In Foot Pursuit

Fremont Police Officer Gentry, unit 2-O-3, apprehended a man after a short foot pursuit shortly before 6 o'clock this evening. The suspect had fled a traffic stop a few minutes earlier and made his way down Peralta to Parish and then into a apartment complex.  As Officer Gentry approached the suspect vehicle in the back of the complex the driver started to flee almost striking some pedestrians. He then fled on foot and was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. Paramedics were called in, apparently for injuries sustained by the suspect.
