Fremont Fire Dept is on scene fighting what looks like an apartment fire on Central across from the DMV on Dusterberry. A second alarm has been pulled. FPD has been called to shut down traffic on Central Avenue.
Update 4:40 pm. Shortly after the fire in the second story apartment was put out, firefighters located a victim in the apartment. The subject was rushed out and to nearby paramedics waiting below. Per radio traffic the victim is breathing but unconscious.
