ROBBERS ARRESTED IN BIG WARM SPRINGS BUST
Fremont Police patrol officers and detectives took four men into custody around 10 o'clock this morning in the Warm Springs district. The original dispatch was to assist an "outside agency" that is surveilling these four men at the Denny's in Warm Springs. The initial want was for strong arm robbery, meaning they used a threat of force to take something from someone, and this other agency requested FPD make the arrest. My hunch is that the other agency was the FBI and these guys are wanted for something big and are not your common street robbers. FPD had numerous patrol officers, detectives, K-9 officer and sergeants involved in the arrest. As the four left the restaurant and were checking out a flat tire on their van, officers swept in and took them into custody with no resistance.

I was listening to it. I wasn’t quite sure of the robbery they were talking about. I agree it is most definitely more than street robbery especially with the FBI involved.
ReplyDeleteThese must be serial robbers or perhaps marijuana grow robbers (DEA in that case). Maybe it will be in the news someday.
ReplyDeleteThat would be nice to know what it actually was. Let’s see how transparent FPD will with this one.
ReplyDeleteHere is a possibility on what this was about...from the Modesto Bee...https://www.modbee.com/news/local/crime/article229157839.html
