A vehicle has crashed on SR 84 near Ardenwood and has ended up on its side trapping the driver. Fire personnel are on scene from both Fremont and Alameda County Fire Departments. Initial reports indicate that the vehicle needed to be stabilized before the driver could be extricated. Also on scene at this time are CHP and Paramedics Plus ambulance.
Update- driver has been extricated. Extent of injuries are unknown to this reporter.
Update- according to radio traffic from the ambulance to the hospital, the female driver has pain to her shoulder and other possible injuries. She was able to self extricate once the door was opened for her by fire personnel.
