Fremont Police Destroy Records

Thanks to Joey Geha for getting the word out.  Here is a link to the KQED story.  Remember, your local police department is NOT for transparency....

  1. Thanks for sharing. While I generally support the police in our community, I do not think this move was at all in the interest of the citizens of Fremont. I’ll be sharing this viewpoint in writing with our municipally elected officials.

  3. It is a tough job and we ask a lot of them, but they are not above the law, and as tax payers we should be able to know if we have some bad cops out there. If I was the Chief, I would say, "Hey we have had some problem employees, this is what they did and this is what we did about it." Destroying the records makes it look like they have something to hide.
