DRUNK DRIVER CHARGED WITH MURDER
Fremont PD, in a Nixle message this afternoon, advised that the Alameda County D.A. has charged Mr. Juan Martinez, the driver arrested in the fatal traffic accident on Central Sunday afternoon, with MURDER. Congrats to FPD officers for gathering evidence, providing a professional investigation report to the D.A. so the murder charge can be presented. As stated in the Nixle message, Mr. Martinez signed a form after his SECOND drunk driving conviction stating that if he kills someone while driving drunk that he could be charged with murder.

ReplyDeleteWell no wonder he fled the scene. RIP to the victim, that is horrible. Hope they throw the book at this guy. I may try to follow the court records.
