A Union City P.D. traffic officer advised the Fremont dispatcher that his grandmother's Life Alert had gone off and to have Fremont Fire respond to her residence on Second Street, and that he is en route there. A UCPD patrol officer advised he was en route as well. And a Fremont Police officer was dispatched there code 3. Upon arrival, the grandson officer could not locate his grandmother in the home and that her car was gone. Officers are trying to find her as of this writing.
Update: The grandmother has been located at 9:30 and she is ok. Apparently another false medical alarm. "Help, I can't get up."
Definitely scary for the grandson. Glad she’s OK.
